Thursday June 13
We started the day by boarding an Iberia flight at 07:05 towards Berlin, which will be our first experience at a fair with a standardized panorama in the sector.
Furthermore, we have a pleasant surprise when we find ourselves on the plane with Marta, lawyer, sector activist and excellent person.
Mary Jane It had been one of our favorite fairs in the past, where we already exhibited in 2021 and 2022 with our own stand.
Germany has taken steps very firm thanks to a sector of the progressive population and some politicians who were determined to fulfill an electoral promise. Healthy envy in certain aspects.
We landed in Berlin and headed straight to visit some essential places in the city, such as The Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, East Side Gallery o RAW terrain.

After a long day, we retired to rest to start the next day early. A lot of work awaited us and we couldn't sleep because we couldn't sleep.
Friday June 14
We get up, shower, have breakfast and we're ready. We're heading to MaryJane.
A new space awaited us, this time far from that hut on the river bank, not very big, but frankly pleasant and beautiful.

The new space is good, it's everything a fair should have but...I can't stop thinking about the previous location. First symptoms that the romanticism of this sector has ended and is opening towards a standardized industry in which there are only big fish. Are we creating a new sector full of opportunities or are we condemning another one, as we have done with consumer electronics, alcohol or tobacco, where there are no small initiatives and only the economic interest of large corporations is pursued? I am clear about my opinion.
We waited 15 minutes, 30, 45 and even 60 minutes to enter, but not before having taken advantage of a small open space in a door that apparently had no access. Something that happens in most massive events is repeated: endless lines, heat and lack of organization.
Once inside, we begin to visit the stands and are surprised by the number of exhibitors there are. Unlike Spannabis, we appreciate more users than growers. Although for our joy, many small hobby growers and the first grows and the first customers are beginning to greet us. Without a doubt, our LEDs are very suitable for this new stage that has just opened.
We heard Spanish spoken and to our surprise he is one of the content creators who has been disseminating information about the grow sector for the longest time. Surely you will know it:
After several visits to friends and colleagues like Monkey King, Athena, Crazy Hills, Miha, Urban Grow, Advanced Nutrients, Bushdoctor o Greenception We left with a good taste in our mouths and with several positive meetings.
Saturday June 15
Interviews, recordings and creation of content for the Instagram profile of Grow The Jungle.
We visited the outside area, with Plagron as the main protagonist and several food trucks with food of different styles. From the typical hamburgers that cannot be missing at an event of this type to dishes like Butter Chicken or Chinese stir-fries. High prices, good quality but endless lines.

More meetings, visits to our friends from 9 Weeks Harvest, to other friendly companies in the sector and we left for the Berlin airport.
As a final conclusion, impressed by the large influx of visitors, excited by the large number of opportunities that arise in the sector, grateful to be part of Grow The Jungle one of the brands that people love the most but are worried about the incursion of large companies and financial gurus.

We return home with our homework done. Time will tell us how everything ends.
Meanwhile, take care of yourselves and…GROW OR DIE! 🔥
